Using the OMNIA Sever App or Discovery Tool to change the IP Address for an IP Device
To change the IP address, you can use the OMNIA Server App or the Discovery tool
OMNIA Server App
Select Hardware Tab, Search for Devices either by subnet or IP
Once you find the device you want to change the IP of, double click it
Network settings window will open
Select Static IP and Force Changes Boxes
DO NOT SELECT SAFE IP BOX
Enter IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway
Enter Log in password of masterkey
Select Save.
Discovery Tool
Find the Discovery.exe at C:\OMNIA\bin64
Double click Discovery.exe
The Unit Discovery will launch
Search for Device either by subnet or IP address
Once you find the device you want to change the IP of, double click it
Network settings window will open
Select Static IP and Force Changes Boxes
DO NOT SELECT SAFE IP BOX
Enter IP address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway
Enter Log in password of masterkey
Select Save.
This can be done over the network or Directly Connected to the Device via Ethernet.
If you are connecting directly to device, ensure your IP of PC is in the same range as the device so the Discovery will find it.
If you are setting IP address for the first time or if you have to factory reset the device, the default IP address is 192.168.100.1
If you cannot find the device over the network, ensure the Ports are not being blocked.
