Use a Relay on an Input/Output to Disarm an Alarm.
Setting up an Action to Fire a Relay on an Input/Output Board to Disarm an Alarm.
You will need to create an action for the I/O board in the reader profile the I/O board is located.
Go to Reader Profiles, Select the Profile, Select Actions, then select Add Action
Name the action something familiar
Choose Relay Action 1 for the Type, after choosing Type, the other options will appear.
Choose Activate Relay
Select the Relay you want to use
Set Duration Time to 15 for relay to fire for 1.5 Seconds
Save this action
Then go to the Readers you want to have this action and click on actions then select Event Actions
Select the Event “ Allowed Normal In”
Search and find the action you created for the I/O Board and select it
When a tag is presented to the readers you add this action to, an “ Allowed Normal In “will be the transaction and the relay will fire to open the door and will also fire the relay on the I/O board disarming the alarm.
