How to put your readers in PAC mode. *Note-this will allow both tags and Person Access Codes to work.
Open OMNIA and Select the Setup tab.
In the Setup Menu Select Readers.
Choose which reader has a keypad that you would like tag holders to use and click.
Under the Details section find Settings > Default Mode and click on the arrow as shown below.
A menu will pop up. Scroll down and select Personal Access Code.
You will see Personal Access Code next to "Default Mode" when correct selection has been made.
Save your selection by clicking on the green circle with the white check mark.
Great! You will now be able to use a Personal Access code or a Tag at the reader you chose for this Mode.
