Creating a new Access Group in OMNIA
NOTE: It is good practice to set up any custom AREA and ACCESS TIME PATTERNS before creating ACCESS GROUPS as an ACCESS GROUP is simply a combination of where (AREA) and when (ACCESS TIME PATTERN) a person is allowed to access a door.
Open OMNIA and Highlight Enrollment then select Access Groups
Fill Out the name of your Access Group.
Select the arrow as shown below to pick which area you want attached to this Access Group
For Example All Access Area
NOTE: AREAS are groups of doors, you may need to go to ENROLLMENT-->ACCESS-->AREAS to create an AREA that contains the desired doors required for this specific ACCESS GROUP.
Now Select the arrow next to time pattern. This gives your access group a time schedule.
NOTE: As with AREAS, you may need to create a custom ACCESS TIME PATTERN. Go to ENROLLMENT-->ACCESS-->ACCESS TIME PATTERNS to create a custom ACCESS TIME PATTERN.
In this case I selected Default which is 24hr
Once you are satisfied with your selection. Select the green check mark in the top right of the page.
Once you have saved more options will become available.
